Adorama Photography TV presents the Sony CLM-V55 Clip-on 5 inch LCD Monitor. The Sony LCD Monitor is a great companion for shooting high definition video with a wide range of DLSR cameras.

Use the large, 5 inch WVGA LCD to easily frame subjects and make fine adjustments to capture beautiful shots. Peaking support enhances the edges of objects for precise focusing. An easy to use control dial quickly allows for adjustment of volume, brightness, contrast, color and aspect ratio.

Still photo use?

Sure, if it's a perfect fit for video, it will work for stills, right? But why no discussion with still photography? Seems great for macro and tilt-shift. Regarding video, I'd like to also see suggestions for easy and portable use with a small hot shoe mic. Also wonder if any thought was given to engineering in an OLE display, as this might have helped enhance use outdoors? Too costly? Other reasons? I find the susceptibility to glare to be a significant issue, and don't fancy having to rig a largish cover.

What about a microphone

Nice review of the product. Here is what I wonder: How can you attach this to the hotshoe, and also attach a microphone (like Rode Videomic) to the camera at the same time? Just not enough places to attach what you really need.
