What are your favorite cameras and accessories introduced this year?

Which are the most important DSLRs, MILCs, Compact Cameras and Photo Accessories to be introduced in 2011?

2011 has been a fascinating year for camera makers, full of major technical advances and setbacks beyond out of their control (such as the Japan earthquake and Tsunami, and the Thailand flooding, both of which have caused major disruptions to product availability). It was a year in which MILCs continued to improve as more companies jumped in with competitive products. For the third year in a row, we are asking you which cameras and accessories introduced this year were the most significant.


Nominations are open now through November 22! See which cameras and accessories won last year.

The four Readers' Choice categories:

  • DSLR
  • Mirrorless Interchangeable Lens Compact (MILC)
  • Compact Digital Camera
  • Photographic Accessory

In all cases include brand name and model. To be eligible, the product must have been introduced during the calendar year 2011, by November 17th.


Voting will begin on November 25—Black Friday—and will end on Monday, December 5. the winners will be announced on Tuesday, December 6. May the best products win!
