Excellent, accurate review

I own the Ricoh GR IV camera and have found what he says here to be true. I don't care about video much, so that wasn't a selling point or deterrent. Mostly, I wanted an unobtrusive small camera to take with me everywhere and this camera delivers. Environmental portraits can be great, but the review is right that close-ups of the face or whatnot are distorted with the fixed lens. That said, I adore my Ricoh! It's sturdy, easy to bring along everywhere and a joy to use. I can get shots I'd never get with my DSLR simply because I'm not as apt to drag the SLR along due to the size and weight. Also, people aren't as intimidated when you have a smaller camera--they assume it'll be a throw-away pic or think you're a tourist and ignore you. Which is exactly what I want! haha
