Learn how to build a temporary portrait studio in the middle of a parking lot!

In this episode Mark Wallace shows you how to build a high key lighting setup in a parking lot. Mark uses foam core panels and light stands to create shade and control the light. A white background is illuminated by the sun to create a Richard Avedon style photograph for a portable portrait studio. This can be done with or without an on-camera flash.

Found the foamcore

Sorry, jumped the gun - my local art store carries the large foamcore by the piece, so you know where I'm heading tomorrow!

Great idea!

Love it! Wondering about the foamcore though, looks like online it has to be bought in packs of 25, which is quite pricey. I have contacted two local art supply stores, but wondering if you have any further insight on obtaining it by the piece? I need a black background for a project, this looks to be a potential solution for that as well.
