By Adorama Learning Center Editors
June 22, 2012
In this episode of You Keep Shooting, Bryan Peterson demonstrates how important the right focal length lens is for a successful portrait photograph.
You may already know that to get a great photograph, it's important to fill the frame. But there's more to it. The wrong lens choice can lead to a classic portrait photography fail. In this video, Bryan demonstrates that fail and then shows how, by changing your focal length, shows how to avoid the pitfall and get a great portrait with no distracting background!

appreciate the video, but using that phrase for "aperture" is confusing. to me, at least. i also thought they were a little small, except that i don't own/can't afford a premium lens, so those stops are the ones i have to work with. thanks again.
