Knowing when to press the shutter release, by anticipating the position of the peak action, often produces the best results. This technique allows you to secure the best possible composition, an aspect that is sometimes hindered by following the action as it happens. Whether shooting photographs of wildlife, children, or fireworks; anticipation can work in your favor.
