Interview: Director & Pulitzer Prizewinner Vincent LaForet (Part 1)

reDefine with Tamara Lackey

Join Tamara she speaks with award-winning director, pulitzer-prize winning photographer, and popular educator Vincent LaForet about he pulled far and away from the pack.

When deciding on a new piece of equipment, Vincent LaForet encourages his seminar students to figure out why they need it, then learn how to use it. In this exclusive interview for AdoramaTV, he tells host Tamara Lackey the importance of understanding the "why" before the "how" when making a video or buying a piece of equipment, and how this philosophy has helped him become one of the biggest names in still and video imaging. He also discusses how the Canon 5D Mark II prompted his transition from still photography into filmmaking.
