Hi Fraustbyte, the secret is to make sure your flash is off-camera at an angle. Adjust the flash and camera so the shadow lands out of frame, and use a reflector, as shown in this video, to bounce light into the model's face that is thrown into shadow by the angle of the flash. (BTW our apologies for the delayed response. Adorama has been closed for Passover break since 3/22, and just reopened)

How can I use a white or any other light colored background and not get shadows from the model on the background. I use a Nikon SB 700 as my light source.
