Panasonic 15mm f/1.7 Super-Fast Wide-Angle Lens Announced


Great news for street, candid and low-light photographers: Panasonic has just announced a Leica Summilux 15mm f/1.7 ASPH interchangeable lens for Olympus and Panasonic Micro Four Thirds cameras. With a field of view equivalent to a 30mm lens, the 15mm f/1.7 is said to be compact and light, and is branded with the Leica name.

The Leica DG Summilux 15mm f/1.7 will be available in Silver  or Black, starting in May at Adorama for $599.99. The lens can be pre-ordered now and orders will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Credit cards will not be charged until orders ship.
