More than 20,000 attendees filled West 18th Street for our annual technology showcase benefitting the Boomer Esiason Foundation, where they joined well-known photographers, filmmakers and the visual community to connect through the power of images.
Enthusiasts learned to shoot like pros courtesy of the Adorama Learning Center and received essential tips from Tamara Lackey, Doug Gordon, Bryan Peterson and other familiar faces from AdoramaTV while they provided free photography lessons under the big white tent.
At the same time, families and friends gathered to celebrate the beginning of summer by enjoying carnival games, a petting zoo, food, prizes and raffles, and more – there was something fun for everyone, not just the technology lovers. Special guests Boomer Esiason and Craig Carton from WFAN were also on hand and they signed autographs and chatted with fans big and small.
The celebration continues all week long with exclusive specials at Adorama on photo gear and the latest technology in consumer electronics. See them all. Our friends from Canon, Nikon, Sony, Olympus, LG, Apple, Verizon, Western Digital, Adobe, Panasonic, Epson, Zeiss, Intel, Lexar and many more are excited to show you the newest tools to help you create better photos and video than you can imagine.
Thanks to all of our technology vendors and street fair attendees for our best year yet. We’re already planning next year’s Sunday Family Funday and can’t wait for you to join us again. Meanwhile, come visit us at Adorama anytime and see why Adorama is more than a camera store.
