A portfolio of photos shot with a pre-production Pentax K-7...and a funky superwide zoom

Yes, this camera is revolutionary, but it's also fun to use,  especially with the Pentax 10-20mm ultrawide zoom lens! Let's enjoy some pictures...


Yup, the Pentax K-7, which was introduced last month and will be available later this month, is a technical tour de force. But it's also a fun little compact. I had a couple of hours to put it through its paces. Be sure to read my review and Jack Howard's blog overview of its impressive HDR capabilities but for now, let's enjoy some photos, shall we?

These were taken at Rutgers Gardens, East Brunswick, NJ, with the Pentax 10-17mm f/4-5.6 EX DC fisheye zoom lens, which was a blast to use! Photos by Mason Resnick

all good tools

somebody who likes another camera system might be a little miffed that pentax is on a roll....And I shoot panny, canon and pentax, all good tools.

Wide angle ... easy drama

To easy to create quirky images with fish eye. Doesn't say much about camera.

Cool!

I like how you worked this lens's fisheye distortion to create offbeat pix. Third shot down is my favorite.
