Mockmoon's timelapse videos, shot with still cameras including the Canon EOS 5D Mark II and the Nikon D3 are simply spectacular. I could prattle on for a while about harmonious compositions, the yin-yang relationship of the kinetic soundscapes of his city compositions versus the stark and haunting piano pieces for the natural world pieces, but really, these videos just speak for themselves.
I came across a tilt-shifted cityscape via Imaging Insider this morning, and it fascinated me and led to me to search for more work by this amazingly talented timelapse artist such as this one below.

After watching a few of the cityscapes, I discovered Mockmoon's work in the wild–night skies, cloud migrations, lingering twilight and well... I'm speechless. What a fantastic way to wind down the week!

And even though I can't read a word of it, I've bookmarked his blog.
You should too.
