Everywhere you look, you see the 16:9 "HD ratio". Got a modern Mac or an HDTV? That's 16:9, as is the HD player in Vimeo, YouTube, and everywhere else. We run through ways to crop to HD in several Adobe offerings including Adobe Camera Raw, Photoshop Elements 8, Photoshop CS4 and Lightroom 3 Beta in this TechTock video tutorial.

Has some good samples how to change your regular format picture to a 16x9 fromat picture.
