NikonD400?

I'm waiting for the next Nikon model to replace the D300, I hope it has video, otherwise I'll be kicking myself for waiting since the D300 is a fabulous camera.

high ISO a biggie

Really want to have a self-cleaning sensor, low noise-high ISO, full frame, good burst speed and buffer size, reliability AND a pop-up flash for emergency fill flash.

Demonstrated relaibility

If I had the money, I'd already have switched from Canon to Nikon due to the quality of the D3 and all the issues surrounding Canon's AF and other problems with the 1DSMkIII. If Canon can't produce a MkIV that I am certain will not have similar issues, then it won't matter how many new features are on the next Nikon. I'll be buying it.

Full Frame

I'm ready to step up to a full frame DSLR with high ISO capabilities. I shoot a lot of night time football games and use the Canon 70-200 f/ 2.8 IS lens. I hope the combination of the 2 will help me capture some great shots.

You left out the most important thing

Ultimately there are three things to be considered in any camera: Image Quality,Image Quality, and Image Quality.

Sensor Upgrade

Looking for a "gen 2" sensor. Want to get clearer pics at higher ISO. Looking to stay Nikon. D90 will offer me more lens options so I think will go that route. Looked @ D5000 but for a few more $ D90 seems to have more options. (Full frame sensor is too much $$ for me.)
