Jay Burlage (aka MiLapse) is an Architect and self proclaimed time-lapse nut.
ay Burlage (aka MiLapse) is an Architect and self proclaimed time-lapse nut. His first digital camera instantly ignited a curiosity to capture the world from a time-lapse perspective fueled by a long time admiration for film pioneers. From this humble start in 2004 to his present day passion, Jay’s curiosity has led him to explore many avenues from budget motion control to pioneering HDR timelapse. His ideas have rippled world wide and early HDR time-lapse work (www.hdrtimelapse.com) was used to develop HDR video codecs. In 2008 he co-founded the timescapes.org forum with long time friend and college Tom Lowe and continues to actively share his creative works and experience with the global time-lapse community. Recently he joined the production team for a four part PBS television event to raise global awareness about The Great Lakes.
