Mal Sherlock

Malachy Sherlock is an advocate for visual storytelling & agile content creation. He is a passionate photographer, videographer & writer. He has a knack for shooting images on the street with his mobile phone.

For years, Malachy has been posting new photos every day to his collection of social media profiles. He can be found on instagram posing as Fashion and can be seen chasing the light around Manhattan as NYC.

Mal's iPhone photography have been shown in galleries in NYC and London and he has won various awards for his images.

His street shots of Fashion, People and Architecture have a treaded connected layer that seem to capture the authentic vibe of New York City. He creates his images using an instinctive looping set of data-points, usually triggered by responding to the dominant stimulus of the moment.

Mal is also an active user of the various microMovie platforms including Cinemagram, Lightt, Vine and Vyclone. In his spare time he can been seen comparing the tech spec and images of the RED Epic & Arri Alexa to his iPhone 5.

He is an advocate for agile content creation with a mobile device. He understands the challenges and limitations of creating quality content with a phone but he sees an opportunity to reinvent the process for realtime brand storytelling.
