Fixes magenta tint in some images

By Adorama News Writer

August 7, 2009

Canon has just released a minor firmware update for its EOS 50D enthusiast digital SLR camera.

Canon EOS 50D Version 1.0.7 corrects a phenomenon where captured images may tend to appear somewhat magenta depending on the shooting scene, and corrects certain Arabic, Romanian, Spanish, and Ukranian menu screens. A previous version, 1.03, corrects overexposures, an "Err99" message, and a "busy" warning that sometimes appears when installing the battery.
