Firmware Update: Sigma DP-2

It has barely hit the shelves but Sigma has already announced a firmware update for the DP-2 large-sensor compact digital camera. Firmware version 1.01 promises the following performance improvements:

• Decreases the phenomenon of intermittent camera freeze under certain conditions
• Improves accuracy of the autofocus

This firmware update is for the DP-2 only; it will not work on the DP-1. A review of the DP-2 is currently being prepared for the Learning Center, and we have downloaded and installed the new firmware for re-testing.
