Combined with anything. 5-1lb and bending beyond 90° while including it's own heavy weight will start bending down on it's own.

Good flex arm overall (these have limits)

This is an invaluable addition to any product photography studio! Being able to get certain reflectors or flags in exact place is vital to product work, and this flex arm does just that.

Invaluable

Way over-built.  The unit itself is heavy!  I have no idea how they bent it to look like the photo - that is quite a feat.  OK, maybe if you need to hold up the Great Wall of China, this is for you.

Whoa - way too heavy/bulky/inflexible

Purchased as kit with Manfrotto super clamp.  This is a heavy duty flex arm that will easily support a strobe, camera or speedlight.

Heavy Duty, Will Last Forever

Used with the clamp, I can attach this to my monopod with a light attached for a slightly offset light source.  When I don't want my fill to come from the lens angle, I simply clamp this puppy to a chair, window, fireplace, etc.  This also leaves my hotshoe open for the EVF Pro or a mic.

very useful

Bought to hold a Canon 580EX Flash.  Best used in conjunction with a Justin Clamp (Manfrotto 175) or a compatible Clip Clamp, or Manfrotto Super Clamp or equivalent.  Very versatile and strong yet flexible.  For supporting the Flash unit, I prefer the HD to the non-HD version (I have both).  A great item to have with your grip gear!

Sturdy & Versatile to hold 580EX Flash

Used one with a Manfrotto superclamp on a park bench to support a Nikon D300+MB-D10 grip+28-75/2.8 lens+SB800. Never wavered. Felt it could support even more mass.
