Orders for in-stock items placed on business days up to 6:00 P.M. are generally shipped the same day (subject to verification, as described below). Delivery of Used Merchandise:
Orders for Used items placed on business days up to 1:00 P.M. are generally shipped the same day (subject to verification, as described below). Please note weekend orders, placed on Fridays after 9:00 A.M. will be processed on Monday.

Some orders might be subject to our verification procedure before we can process the order. For your protection from credit card fraud or identity theft, we may ask you to verify that you're the card owner or that the order and the ship-to information are legitimate. If your order requires verification you will receive an e-mail within one business day to advise you about the situation.

Shipping Charges:
Shipping charges are not included in our pricing. Please place your order in the "Shopping Cart" to view the shipping charges.

Shipping Rules:
A signature will usually be required for all UPS shipments upon receipt, therefore someone must be at the delivery address to receive the package and sign for it. Customers who are unable to make arrangements to receive a package at their home address may want to consider their workplace or the home of a neighbour as the primary shipping address. However, this will require an additional verification procedure to prevent fraud.

If your bank does hold you liable for any of this $50.00, We will cover the entire liability for you, up to the full $50.00. There are two types of information that Adorama collects online: (1) personally identifiable information supplied by visitors to our web site, and (2) non-personal information gathered as visitors navigate through the web site.

Our Return / Cancellation Policy:
For the first 14 days of your purchase (First 7 days for video and audio), you may return the merchandise for a full money back refund, excluding any shipping charges (for items which we offer free shipping, our standard shipping charges will be deducted from any refund or credit).

Extended Holiday Return Policy
For purchases made between November 24 and December 24, 2009, we will accept items for return or exchange till Janurary 8, 2010. Providing it meets the requirements specified below.

Returned or exchanged products must be in brand-new, mint condition. Items must be in the original, undamaged manufacturer's packaging with all packaging materials, including instruction booklets, packing inserts, and the blank warranty cards. Any merchandise missing the original Universal Product Code (UPC) cannot be returned. The manufacturer's labeled packaging must be enclosed within an additional shipping carton. Please do not place stickers or shipping labels on the original manufacturer's package. Please ship your parcel back to Adorama freight prepaid and Insured. Sorry, Adorama cannot accept COD or freight-collect shipments. Return shipping cost (the cost to send an item back to our store) is not reimbursable.

Please enclose a copy of the invoice and tell us whether you want repair / exchange / credit for the returned item.

Please wait 8 days from date we received the package for us to process your return.

IMPORTANT NOTE for international customers: Please mark the item as "VENDOR RETURN" to avoid duties and customs

We do not accept returns of computers, laptops, notebooks, netbooks, software, film, paper, educational video tapes and DVD's once opened, lamps, batteries, video batteries, ink cartridges, memory cards, tapes, or any other consumable products or items which have been removed from the "blister-pack" packaging. In addition we do not accept returns for processing equipment once used with chemistry, printers (once toner, ink or ribbon cartridges have been installed), underwater equipment once taken underwater.

TVs and Monitors
TVs and Monitors can only be cancelled prior to shipment. Once they are in route to you, the order can not be cancelled or refused. If you do refuse it, you will be responsible for charges of shipping and handling both ways.

Note: Upon delivery, please inspect the TV and insure that it is not physically damaged and in operable condition. DO NOT SIGN the delivery manifest until you have inspected the TV. Once you sign for the item, you are signing acceptance of the product as is. If the merchandise is damaged, please make the notation on the delivery manifest, and have the person delivering the merchandise sign as a witness to the damages.

TVs and Monitors 20 inches and up, computers Laser Printers, are not accepted for credit, refund or exchange and must be repaired by manufacturers' authorized service centers.

Mobile Phones & Smart Phones
Phones will only be accepted for credit or exchange if they register less than 10 minutes cumulative talk time and show no signs of use. Defective Phones will be exchanged for the same model only.

Product Warranties:
All new merchandise bought from Adorama are genuine, authentic and of consistent high quality and value. All items are warranted by either the manufacturer's warranty or if it is Grey market equipment it will be covered by Adorama for one year from date of shipment 

Products requiring repair (other than Grey Market products) should be sent directly to the manufacturer/distributor for service. Adorama is not liable if the manufacturer/distributor fails to perform warranty service

Used Equipment carries a 90 day Warranty
Pal Video Equipment carries a 90 day Warranty

Our warranty provides coverage for defects in manufacturing only and expressly excludes coverage for excessive wear and tear and/or physical/accidental abuse, loss and theft. Our warranty is valid only at Adorama Camera. Improper repair or warranty service performed by someone other than Adorama Camera will void this warranty. Adorama Camera DISCLAIMS ANY LIABILITY FOR CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES FOR BREACH OF WRITTEN OR IMPLIED WARRANTY OF THIS ITEM, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. THIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS, AND YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER RIGHTS, WHICH VARY FROM STATE TO STATE. If you would like to pay by check. Please print out your order (as instructed on the site at closing of order) and mail it to us with a check enclosed. We will process your order immediately if you send us a bank check or a certified check. Personal & business checks take 12 days to clear.

COD:

International Orders:

Duties and Taxes
The recipient of an international shipment may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country and brokerage fees / custom clearance charges which may be imposed by the carrier . These charges must be borne by the recipient; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be.
In the event a shipment is refused and returned, any taxes, duties, custom fees , brokerage fees or shipping charges incurred from this return, will be the responsibility of the customer.

Grey Market Information:

What does “Grey Market” mean?
"Grey market", also known as "direct import", are products imported directly into the U.S., and not through the manufacturer's authorized agent / distributor.

Are “Grey Market” products legally imported?
Yes, it is perfectly legal to Directly Import these products and sell it in the USA. The term “Grey Market” was coined by manufacturer's authorized distributors who wanted to discourage consumers from buying these goods. Its proper name is "direct import",

What are the advantages “Grey Market” Goods ?
Since there is no factory authorized middle man involved in the import of these products the costs are lower, and so the price of the item is lower to you, the consumer.
In addition many items which are in short supply or are not imported at all by the manufacturer's authorized distributors are available in “Grey Market”

What are the disadvantages of “Grey Market” goods?
Again since there is no factory authorized middle man involved in the import of these products, there is no manufacturer's warranty
“Grey Market” Products purchased from Adorama are warrantied by Adorama Camera and have to be returned to Adorama Camera for any in warranty repair.

Are there any additional differences?
There is no difference in the actual products. In most cases they are manufactured in the same place by the same people and with the same materials. Occasionally manufacturers will name them differently for example the Olympus USA Digital Stylus Cameras are called Olympus MJU Cameras in Europe

What Kind of warranty do we offer on “Grey Market” goods?
On “Grey Market products purchased from Adorama, we offer the same warranty as the USA warrantied products carry for a period of one year.
The only difference is that you would need to ship it to Adorama for warranty service

NOTE. You do not need a separate Adorama warranty certificate, your Adorama invoice is all you need to get warranty service on “Grey Market” products

What happens after the warranty expires?
Just like products with an expired Manufacturers’ warranty you would take the product to any convenient repair shop and pay for the repair

Is There Such a Thing As Grey Market Film?
Yes, we carry Kodak film in three version

  1. USA - made in the USA for domestic distribution
  2. USA for Export - made in the USA for worldwide distribution
  3. Grey - imported from other countries

Fuji, Ilford, and Agfa films are all made outside the USA. In this case, Grey market means how it came to be imported. The films are the same, but again, distribution and control determine the difference of USA or Grey.

The main issue with film has always been, assurance that it was handled and stored properly during transport to protect it’s emulsion. For this reason many Professionals prefer USA film. However our experience with these films has been that very rarely have we encountered any emulsion problems with Grey market film. It is the choice of the consumer to balance price against these concerns

If you do not agree to the terms and conditions of sale, please ship the product back to us unopened within 5 days of receipt via UPS Ground Service shipping for a full refund (less S/H charges).
