Description
The Sekonic L-558Cine DualMaster is the most advanced handheld light-mesuring instument available in the motion picture and video industry today. It is the first to offer a 1° parallax-free spot viewfinder with a digital display. A built-in retractable incident Lumishphere for standard or cosine corrected light readings, provides both hemispherical and narrow angle readings. The L-558Cine will handle any istuation, having light reading modes such as foot-candles, lux, foot-lambert and cd/m2 and cine shutter speeds from1 to 1000 f.p.s.
For still photographers, The L-558Cine DualMaster's flexible design accommodates changing shooting situations. That's because it's a multi-function meter. With a turn of a knob the L-558Cine changes from an incident meter to a reflective spot meter for both ambient and flash measurements, all in one rugged, compact, all-weather housing. Selecting aperture or shutter priority modes or EV is as easy as turning the Jog wheel.
Simultaneous evaluation of ambient and flash is displayed in three convenient ways. An easy-to-read illuminated LCD panel, directly displays in full, 1/2 or 1/3-stop increments to match film or digital cameras. Unique features such as meter calibration and exposure compensation offer the flexibility that today's photographer's require.
PLUS - The Sekonic L-558Cine DualMaster incorporates the world's first optional internal Digital Radio Transmitter Module. Compatible with all PocketWizard Digital Radios, it eliminates the need for an additonal transmitter at the meter's position.

Memory Mode Up to nine readings can be memorized in incident or spot metering modes independently in both Aperture and Shutter Priority Modes. The memory function of the L-558C provides the photographer with an effective way of retaining and analyzing shadow, midtone and highlight exposure readings. |
Full, 1/2 or 1/3-step Selectable Readings Both shutter speeds and apertures can be displayed in either full, 1/2 or 1/3-step increments to match your film or digital camera; selecting these increments is quick and easy with custom software menu settings. |
Exposure, Calibration and Filter Compensation Independent incident & reflected exposure compensation of up to +/-9.9 EV can be easily set for custom film exposure corrections or for bellows extension factors. With the calibration compensation setting of +/-1.0 EV. There is even a filter compensation setting of +/-5.0 EV |
Dual ISO Settings The L-558C offers the flexibility of taking a single measurement and displaying the f-stop and shutter speed for two different ISO film speeds, such as negativefilm and Polaroid proofing film. |

Full-Featured Flash Measurements 1. Cord Flash Mode 2. Cordless Flash Mode 3. Unlimited Multiple Flash Mode 4. Radio Triggering Mode |
All Weather Design All buttons, switches and compartments are sealed and the meter housing has been constructed with durable, rugged conditions in mind. |
