Description
Thanks to the unique Tamron Adaptall-2 adapter system, if you're the owner of pretty well any manual focus SLR camera, then it's almost certain you can buy a Tamron lens to fit it.
Literally dozens of Adaptall-2 camera adapters are available one of which will make the lens fit your camera just as if it had been produced by the camera manufacturer - there really are very few SLRs for which there lis no adapter.
You'll normally find that every function you can achieve with the camera manufacturer's own lenses will work in exactly the same way with a Tamron lens. The difference is that should you choose to start using another brand of manual focus SLR, then all you need to change with your Tamron lenses is the Adaptall-2 adapter mount. So you won't have to part exchange your lenses and lose money on them!
In addition to our manual focus zoom and prime lenses, we also manufacture two models of 2 times SP tele converter. The F-system model is designed to fit specific camera models, Pentax K, Nikon AI, Canon FD, Minolt MD, Olympus OM, Konica AR, Contax/Yashica and Praktica/Pentax ES. The SP interchangeable mount system adapter fits between your Tamron lens and the Adaptall-2 mount, so it too will be useful should you change your camera system. |
