The 503HDV has been reengineered with entirely left-handed controls that enhance operational efficiency as camera controls are generally left-handed.

Each setting can be inspected and verified at a glance, allowing for rapid setups from one shot to the next. A more refined means of support is now demanded as High Definition video's details as well as errors in movement are now more apparent. The 503HDV Pro meets that challenge with a continuously-variable fluid drag system that provides just the right amount of dampening for any shot on your needed list, from whip pans to slow motion, just dial in drag to touch.

Along with the 4-step counterbalance the 503HDV delivers the type of finger-tip camera control that you would normally find on a much more expensive production fluid head.
