This innovative microphone features four capsules, arranged in the same configuration as the original VX1000, and a digital signal processor that emulates its unique frequency filtering and compression. The VX Skateboard Camera Mic comes with a coiled 3.5mm TRS cable, making it compatible with a wide range of devices, from DSLRs and handycams to RED DSMC2 and other cameras with 3.5mm stereo inputs. For cameras with dual XLR inputs, the VX Skateboard Camera Mic XLR Adapter Y Cable is available separately. Equipped with an internal LiPo battery, this microphone offers over 48 hours of continuous operation. It can be conveniently charged using the included USB-C wall adapter, or with external USB power banks for simultaneous charging and operation. The microphone features a shoe mount on its base, designed to attach to standard camera hot shoes. It also includes a center 1/4-20 for connection to articulating arms like our Ultra Arms.
