Processing your own color film doesn't have to be complicated or expensive! This liquid chemical, two bath processing kit can be used at a variety of temperatures with the same equipment you already process your black and white film with at home. No darkroom or automated processor required!If you already process your own black and white film, with this kit, there is no reason you can't process your own color negative film at home as well! With this simplified 2 bath process, you can have beautifully developed and fixed color negatives, ready to scan or print. All you need is water, a thermometer and any simple tank and reel system!

When you develope at home. This is the kind of kit you will need. It will developer and c41 color or c41 black and white film. It's great. You can even develope films at room temperature b besides the suggested temperature.

A great color film developing kit.

I have used this kit more times than I can count and have found it to be not just consistent with results, but in packaging as well. I have used the majority of what is available for c41 at home and this is the only one I have yet to have issues with pertaining to packaging. To elaborate, I have had issues with other kits not being sealed and spilling during transport or at the very least oxidizing before I receive them.

Great product!

Very straightforward and easy to follow instructions. This was my first time trying color film developing and I was very happy with the results I got with the Arista C41 kit.

First Time User - Very Pleased

I have not had a chance to use the chemicals yet, but they were all there and they arrived in good shape. So I can confirm that the product looked just like the photograph on the website... after I took the bottles out of the box and arranged them that way on a white background. If you vary the arrangement of the bottles and the background color and lighting, well then its not going to look like the website, is it?

The Arista kit worked great and final scans proved it to be a winner.

I watched a youtube video first which was really helpful.  This product was recommended by a photo contact who professionally develops large format color negative film. I have to say -  it was a good rec! I have processed a lot of B&W sheet film but never color so this was a first. I will def be developing at home in the future :)

quality and pretty easy to use

Over the last decade or so, I had shot some 17 rolls of C41 process color film that I had intended to send to a lab, but never got around to it. I had developed black and white chemistry many times in the past, but had always been hesitant to try something as picky with temperature as I'd heard color film is. 
But this kit is super easy! Mix it following the instructions. I used quart sized mason jars to keep the chemistry in. While I developed, and kept them in a kitchen sink that I'd refill with hot water from time to time to keep the temperature close to spec. I wasn't terribly careful with temperature -- probably +/- 2 degrees Fahrenheit,  and I let the develop time grow a bit as I processed more and more rolls, but I wasn't very scientific about how much more time I gave it, and all of my film came out looking great! Most of the film I processed was at least a decade past its expiration date. In future batches, I'll be more comfortable adding a minute or two to developing times for expired film, but even a roll that I found in a thrift store camera that expired in probably 1995 had recoverable images on it. 

Reuse of the kit is great! I processed all 17 rolls with the same set of chemistry in one blitz of an afternoon. I noticed no difference in quality or density of the negatives as I went. Rather than save the chemicals after that, I'm just planning on buying another kit once I've shot another 10-20 rolls and have an empty Saturday on the calendar.

After I developed the film, I scanned it using my laptop screen lying flat as a backlight, a film holder from an old flatbed scanner set across some of my kids' blocks to lift it above the light source, and my wife's D90 mounted into my homemade copy stand attached to my DX 40mm f2.8 macro. I set the lens to F11 and the camera to ISO 200, and let the camera choose shutter speed. I processed them in DigiKam by inverting the images' colors and then adjusting levels in the red, green, and blue channels. All in, I'm $1.60 per roll develolped, and had fun scanning and editing the 17 rolls of images I developed.

Great value, great reuse, great results! Easy to use. If you can develop B&W, you can develop C41 with this kit!

I've been using the Cinestill C41 kit, but thought I'd give this one a try since it's a few bucks cheaper. Mixing it up is about the same, and my negatives have been turning out well. Easily holds its own against other C41 kits. The instructions are easy to follow, too. Will buy again.

Really good product, easy to use, as long as you follow the instructions everything will be fine. Just making sure the temperature is the correct one during the process you can complete the developing process with no issues, very similar to b&w development.

Great. It is my first set of developing chemicals. It produces good. Simple and easy to use. The instructions come with the times at 103F. I didn?t like it being so hot, it was easy to go on google and convert it. Very fun to use, reminds me of my days in chemistry :)

This is real good product that makes my wife work very easy and I?m getting outstanding results
