I have two of these. The adhesive isn't very strong, so on both I ended up drilling small holes through the cap keeper and the lens cap and securing them together with fishing line. Also, on one of them the plastic tube that clamps the ends of the elastic together came loose, and I had to glue it back together in order to continue using it.

Could be better

This cap keeper looked great. It fastened to the cap nicely, and the after just a few days it came apart right where the string attaches. This is ridiculous. The only reason I bought this one was because it had the vivitar name, so I thought they would have good quality control.  Well they didn?t.

Perfect product for keep your lens cap close by. No more need to keep it in my pocket any more.

If you?re prone to misplacing your lens cap this is a must have. Easy to install just don?t put it anywhere where it can interfere with the moving parts of the cap.

Simple easy device

Although the contest expired in 2021 and it is now 2022 this is a great item.  You don't have to worry about loosing your lens cap UNLESS the sticky part looses its stick.

Save your lens cap

These are great I have not used this one, as I am awaiting arrival, but the one I have is indispensible (I spelled that wrong)
Make sure to use a nontoxic glue to dab on the sticky tape before you attach it to your lens cap.  That way the glue will definitely keep it in place, as in the summer time with sweat and etc, the sticky tape it comes with slides on the lens cap, but with another adhesive used that should prevent that from sliding and falling off.  I RECOMMEND these, however I never used this particular brand. but I ordered two.

I love these. I never see anyone using them. I have to lose a lens cover due to these little lanyards.

The lens cap keeper seemed too light weight for my Nikon lens cap at first,but so far works very well for me. I have only used it for a month so far.

Keeps me from losing my lens caps (yes, this is a regular problem for me). A bit on the cheaper side so quality reflects, but it works well.

Great!

Just returned from a two week vacation using this cap keeper where the camera was out and in use frequently. No worries about losing the cap or putting it in my pocket every time and having it pick up lint and such. Product stayed attached and the elastic strap stayed put on the base of of the lens. Attached it towards the edge of the lens cap so as to not interfere with squeezing the lens cover release buttons and made sure to press it on for 15 seconds or so when first applied so it made a good connection with the sticky backing.

Love how well the product holds the lens cap so you don't lose the cap. 

Nice to not have to worry about dropping my lens caps or misplacing them.  This lens keeper really works and is a great value at the price.
