This all-inclusive, low-profile ceiling loudspeaker package is designed for optimal audio performance, featuring a stylish bezel assembly, grille, and a rear enclosure. The heart of this system is an 8-inch coaxial two-way loudspeaker, coupled with a waveguide titanium-coated dome tweeter for superior sound clarity. With a high frequency response range of 50Hz-20kHz, the EVID C8.2 is capable of delivering clear and detailed sound across a wide spectrum of frequencies. This efficient loudspeaker utilizes a 2nd order crossover network at 2.5 kHz, complete with a comprehensive protection circuit. This ensures the network, woofer, and tweeter drivers are safeguarded from excessive power levels, enhancing the durability and reliability of the product. The C8.2 features a transformer that offers a selection of power levels, ranging from 1.88 (70-V only), 3.75, 7.5, 15, or 30 watts, delivered to the loudspeaker system using either 70-V or 100-V lines or an 8-ohm bypass. This high power handling capacity allows the speaker to manage high volume levels without distortion or loss of sound quality. The semi-gloss white powder-coated enamel grille, along with the UL 94V-0 rated ABS baffle and bezel, add a touch of elegance to your decor. The rear enclosure, constructed from heavy gauge steel, ensures long-lasting performance. The low-profile design of the enclosure makes it easy to mount in tight spaces, and a rear cover provides access to a 4-pin terminal block for direct connection to the speaker. A tile bridge is included for safe suspension of the C8.2 ceiling systems in a drop ceiling. The EVID line of ceiling speakers is designed to work together as a complete system in a variety of ceiling constructions. They offer wide dispersion, high-efficiency, high-maximum output, ease of installation, and wide-range reproduction of music or voice, making the EVID C8.2 an excellent choice for any audio setup.
