Doesn’t hold a charge as long as the Canon brand original battery, but close. A good buy.

Great replacement battery for my current Canon DSLR

Well made and reliable

Came with a camera package. Worked well until one day I went to get camera out and noticed the battery was dead. Went to remove the battery to charge it and it had swelled so big that it took me several minutes to remove the battery. The original canon battery was still the same size and had a full charge. Don't leave it in the Camera or it will swell up and be difficult to remove...

Don't let price be the only factor. This battery worked fine for about 3 months. If you need cheap backup batteries it might be fine... just make sure you have several of them. I made the mistake of only having this one on me and drained itself after 25 shots.

The batteries work ok.  They don't seem to charge as fast as the Canon and lose their charge faster.  That said they are still pretty good

Pretty Good Battery

I got this along with an Canon EOS Rebel XSi. The canon battery works great, but this one will die after < 100 shots even without using the flash. Maybe I got a lemon, some people report good things; but I wont be wasting any more of my money on one of these and I'd encourage you to avoid it too.

Astonishingly short life

I saw a few bad reviews of this product. But I decided to try it out for myself. It turned out to work as well as the original battery, and so far haven't had any problems with it.

good replacement battery

This battery came with a Canon Rebel T1i kit. It doesn't pop up when you release the lever. I had to use superglue and string to get it out. I'm afraid to use this again.

DOES NOT FIT FOR CANON REBEL T1i.

Great spare battery

I have only used this battery a couple times, so I'm not sure how well it holds a charge/how many pictures one can take with it.  However, a serious issue is that it's fatter than the original Canon battery, so it gets stuck in the camera body.  It doesn't drop out when you press the battery release tab in.  It took me several frantic minutes to get the battery out - by swinging/jostling the camera body (with a once-in-a-lifetime photo op about going on).  I'm going to add a tape pull-tab to the battery to facilitate removal, but if that doesn't work then I'm chucking it.

So far I'm still taking pictures on the first charge. About 400 shots. I charged it two weeks ago for the first time.

I've been alternating this battery with the Canon battery that came with my T1i.  I get a similar number of photos as I get with the OEM battery.

Battery works well after a month

This battery has been great so far, it's long-lasting, and it's a great convenience to not have to use regular batteries anymore. I bought this with my camera bundle, so it's also great to have a backup for trips and such.
