The a7 III boasts a newly developed back-illuminated image sensor and an evolved image processing system, meeting a variety of shooting needs with high-quality imaging capabilities typically expected only from a full-frame camera. The 24.2-megapixel Exmor R CMOS sensor, now featuring a back-illuminated structure, is paired with the latest BIONZ X image processing engine and front-end LSI. This combination achieves a data readout speed that is two times faster and a data processing capability that is 1.8 times higher.The 35-mm full-frame CMOS image sensor with back-illuminated structure enhances light collection efficiency, expands circuitry scale, and, with the help of a copper wiring layer, outputs data at very high speed, while minimizing noise to reveal fine details in every picture. The camera's standard ISO range is extended to ISO 100-51200 (expandable to ISO 50-2048007 for stills), while Detail Reproduction and Area-specific Noise Reduction technologies maintain image details and cut noise. Im no really satisfied with the screen display. The view on the screen is really bad compare to my prevoius a7ii. The display om screen not same as the the evf and the output. Its hard for me to view better exposure when not looking to the evf. Screen display is really bad

This was my first purchase with adorama and I had a sonaya6000 that I was obsessed with but needed an upgrade. I am over the moon with this upgrade. This camera is amazing and idk how I lived without it. This camera was shipped out next day it was so impressive

One of the best Full Frame Camera

This body has held up for years.  I've been using it since the body launched without a hiccup.  Love the images it can take, and any issues I've had with Sony color science I've been able to fix using the robust picture profiles to make preview images closer to the outcome of my edits.  Powerful hybrid camera.

I previously owned a Canon, but since purchasing this Sony A7III, I've been using it for all occasions and events. It's become my go-to for capturing every moment.

Definitely the upgrade I needed from my last camera. I love the quick button selection to fit your own custom style of shooting. Still learning the camera but I'm definitely enjoying it.

This camera is insane! After lots of research, I decided on this camera for its auto-focus and low light abilities. I knew it would be a noticable improvement from my DSLR but I didn't expect being so blown away. Some reviews I have read says that the user interface is a bit hard to navigate but I have found it to be fairly easy to learn.

Beyond Expectation

Wanted to move from a Fuji X-T2 to a full frame.  No video. Wanted to keep to a tilt screen, not a floppy, again, no video. 24MB was plenty as I only print up to A3+. The basic model (A7iii) fit the bill.
