There is a misconception that to get great wildlife photographs, one has to travel to distant places like the Serengeti in Africa, the polar regions of Antarctica, or the rainforests of Tropical America. The reality is that opportunities to produce exceptional nature photography are as close as your backyard, state park, or local zoo. And though you may not have to travel far to capture them, those images can represent extraordinary moments that will be wonderful memories of the incredible world of nature we are all so fortunate to live in. Ron Magill is returning to Adorama to share some more of his memorable moments with you, while showing you how he captured them through his striking photographs.
He will discuss the challenges of working in the field and the equipment he uses to face those challenges. As a world-renowned naturalist, he will explain how knowing your subject is the key to capturing great images, no matter where you are photographing. He’ll show you how a simple change in perspective is sometimes all it takes to make an average image a stunning one.
In addition to sharing the images that Ron has captured locally around his home in South Florida and in zoos around the country, he will also share some of his favorite images and stories from his many trips around the globe studying some of our world’s most beautiful wildlife.
Join him for his energetic, highly informative, and at times hilarious presentation, as he shares with you the breathtaking, incredible stories behind the images he has captured of some of the world's most amazing wildlife.
