The CM700 is a very reliable cable modem. I did have to do one hard reset to factory defaults shortly after I put it into service. But, I believe this was due to my ISP altering its configuration. The cable modem has worked flawlessly ever since.

very reliable cable modem

I called customer service and they helped me set it up. I'm so happy of the outcome and I notice when I put on my Netflix's it's connect faster to the Home Screen. Thank you so much. I really enjoy this purchase.

Seems ok but not sure if issues are with the modem or my system

New Modem

I've had the modem a few years and and use it about 3 month a year.  This year it just started to reset it self very often to the point it would do it if I ran a simply speed test.  would not recommend it.

modem is Junk

Works great, doubled the speed test results I got from my 5 year old modem.

Netgear cable modem.

I replaced my rented modem with this modem to get rid of the monthly rental. Easy set up with one call or Comcast.  The Comcast automated app did not work.  It's been a month and all is good.

I've been using this modem and combo as my primary device, and it works exceptionally well. The hardware is reliable and has performed flawlessly so far.

However, my experience with Netgear's customer support and the Nighthawk app has been disappointing. The app is frustrating to use, and despite repeated attempts to get help, the issues remain unresolved.

Customer service has been a letdown:

I've had to wait on hold for over 30 minutes during support calls.
The support staff seemed inexperienced and unable to resolve my issues effectively.
One interaction was particularly unprofessional-an agent seemed disengaged and unresponsive, almost as if they were asleep while speaking to me.
While the product itself is excellent, the lack of proper technical support and a functional app has negatively impacted my overall experience. If you can avoid using Netgear products, I would recommend doing so unless they significantly improve their support and app quality.

Technical supports sucks!!!!

I have had Nether products before and the last one got damaged from a lightning strike near by so had to get another.

So far it's working fine.

ISP informed me I needed a new modem.   CM700 fit their requirements.   Easy to set up once i connected it and powered it up.   Just like previous NETGEAR Modems.

Exceptional Service

We have 600mbps Xfinity service.    RAV10 router and CM700 modem are perfect WiFi 6 combo to provide high availability service.   We have 20  devices including printers, Sonos speakers, Google TV, phones and tablets.  Very satisfied with products and Netgear phone support.

Excellent Performers

I work from home and almost everything in the house needs WiFi. This modem currently has 15 devices showing attached, the signal is not weak. Glad I took the leap and bought this durable netgear.

Fast and durable

Frequently several of my smart TVs have difficulty connecting and i must turn off the modem and restart it.  Not fun or convenient

Docsis3.0 is being phased out. My internet provider no longer supports this in their system. Returning the modem was super easy though, so I'm pretty happy. Replaced it with a Docsis3.1, which is working well.

Best economic modem

Straight forward, affordable, looks smaller and more minimalist than others. Wish the base could be removed. Definitely my first choice, glad I went with this one!

Sleek, minimal looking, works great

Lightening hit nearby and burned out my previous modem--I didn't have it surge protected.  I got this Netgear replacement and it works great

Great produce

This is our second netgear modem, first one worked well for several years, we upgraded it to DOCSIS 3.0 because Comcast service required that. This newer model CM700 works well too, functions as described.

Great product

The product works great but I had difficulty when the cable worker was here. I was forced to download the nighthawk app since without downloaded it nothing would work. I don't like having to download extra apps on my phone.
