I bought this item to use in my car with an ITouch. I liked the design with the goosneck feature to view the iPod while driving and I thought it was a well made unit.

Audio quality is terrible. The only way I can reduce static levels is to hold my hand on the unit to ground or screen the interference, even then it is hit and miss. Reception changes in different vehicles from More-static-than-music, to periodic static. I have tried using a 12 volt extension cord and moving the device around the car to find the "sweet-spot." No luck. I have wrapped the unit in foil to shield and ground interference. Nothing really works. The connection for the iPod gets loose quickly and normal bumps while driving disconnect the connection. Given the price of this device I can not recommend this item.
