Unfortunately, after using this product, I discovered that there is a difference in HDMI cable quality.
When I purchased a new HDTV from Adorama, I also purchased this product to replace the older HDMI cables I had been using.
After setting up my new HDTV, I was unpleasantly surprised by a 60Hz hum coming from my subwoofer. I had never had that problem before. I assumed it was related to the new TV.
After trying many things over the next few days, it finally occurred to me that I had swapped out my HDMI cables with this product.
I replaced the new cables with my older HDMI cables and the hum went away. The older cables had more shielding and that made a difference in my situation.
Also, the cables I received do not look anything like the pictures here on the site. They are all black, thinner with a very lightweight cable jacket, and the connectors are not as sturdy.
Overall, I cannot recommend this product.

You know, one of the things that dealers constantly tell customers is that if you are dealing with old-school RCA cords and adapters, you'll find a million people offering "gold-plated" or thicker-gauge wiring to give you the best possible connection and conduction for your components. Monster cords do a wonderful job at ponying up to your wallet and making you pay a pretty penny for superbly made wiring. However, what most people WON'T tell you is that when it comes to HDMI and fiber-optic cables.... Monster is no better than Wal-Mart, or BestBuy.... or Adorama HDMI cables. HDMI cables, by design, are rated to carry that digital signal in full 1080p resolution, and as that is currently the highest resolution possible, there "is" no better cable to push better signaling. Period. [$] If they're on sale, get them while they are in stock. You can buy it from Adorama at a rate of 3-to-1 what you can even get from the Big Box stores.
