Comments about Ectaco Ectaco Jetbook Lite, eBook Reader - Graphite:
If you're looking for a good, functional e-book reader that runs right out of the box, this is the best and cheapest e-reader available. With 4 AA hybrid batteries I can read for 2 weeks before I swap in newly charged batteries.
Good points include:
1. Fast page turn / no black flash
2. No additional gadgets like WiFi, 3G, ,MP3s, or accelerometer
3. Lite model has replaceable batteries
4. Formats ePub, Mobi, Prc, Rtf, txt, Pdf, and Fb2
5. Accepts Barnes & Noble DRM
6. Accepts downloadable (OverDrive) books from the public library and their DRM
7. Readable in bright sun
8. 3 places on device to turn pages - either hand use
9. Good grip
I've just ordered my second Jetbook Lite. Lost the first one to my wife who is now completely hooked.

Anyone who has spent anytime in waiting rooms knows the tedium of looking for something to read. The Jetbook comes preloaded with so many books, that you can begin enjoying it immediately. It fits easily into a purse and it is so easy to adjust the font size when your eyes are tired or you don't have your reading glasses. It is also very easy to download additional books to the expansion card. I am currently enjoying rediscovering books I read growing up.
