-This small speaker is not bad for the money. It's solid, good-looking and sounds OK.
I wanted a small speaker to carry with my zen mp3 player and not have to worry about putting in batteries.
-The enclosed battery is Li-Ion and charges up quickly with a usb cord (included) after the initial charge and lasts for hours.
As far as the sound--Don't Expect room filling beautiful bass- It's not there. It's just enough for a good, intimate listen when you don't want to deal with earphones. Also, not too tinny, better than I expected.
I like it and am glad I got it.
