Unlike the user above, I have had no problems using an Ipod Nano 5th generation with this unit. To work properly, you MUST use the Ipod adapter plate that comes with the Ipod and remove the one that comes with this unit. Bought it as an Xmas gift for the gf, and she loves it. Great features for the price, and very compact. Good buy for anyone.

[...] iPod did not work. FFW button sticking.[...] confirmed defective. Tried swapping at store with similar ones. Turns out all defective. Ipod would not work. iPod Nano worked on all other brands and ofcourse with my Yamaha system.Test your iPod on this unit before buying. [...]
