I use the samsung 32inch for my main tv. It is stylish and has just enough features for the price vs the 6 or higher samsung series.plus it's one of the few 32 inch LCD that is 1080p. Great sharp picture.sports like basketball n football games look great on this 5 series.

I read many reviews on the web about LCD TVs, then I went to several stores to see their walls of TVs. The Samsungs were in the top tier of picture quality. Then I combed the web for the best price (this was the 2008 holiday shopping season), and found it from Adorama.

When the unit arrived, I was impressed with its classy appearance (although a fingerprint magnet), easy set up, and excellent picture quality. I didn't like the built-in brightness settings, so I customized the backlight level to my preference. The rest of the football season has been very enjoyable to watch!

We bought a 32" because it happened to fit in the existing hole in our entertainment center. There are plenty of connection options, including a USB port to view pictures on flash drives, but we just have a simple hookup to our DVD player & satellite box. The main down side to this unit is the sound quality, due to the down-firing speakers mounted in the bottom of the unit -- but with some adjustments to the audio settings it is acceptable. Again, we have a simple setup, and adding a surround sound system would fix the sound quality issues. VERY SATISFIED!
