I bought this for my wife, who likes electronic things to be simple. She loves the clip that holds this little thing anywhere she puts it. I'm very picky about sound quality, and was surprised at how good this player sounds. Now I want one for myself!

Other than a non-replaceable battery (a pet peeve), this product works exactly as advertised, is easy to customize playlists, equalization, etc. and stores a useful 4 gigs at an inexpensive price. The very small size and easily viewable screen are other pluses. I especially like the design of the on/off/lockout switch.

First, it sounds GREAT! From deep bass to cymbal crashes, to quiet strings with excellent stereo imaging, No other mp3 player under $150 comes close. Again, one of the BEST SOUNDING PLAYERS. Period. Plus it has a graphic EQ display and 5 band equalizer. 2.It has a DISPLAY. Choose what to listen to. 3.It records music, voice, meetings with digital clarity. I record my band playing (acoustic) and it does a surprisingly good job. It won't do well for loud(metal, rock)sounds. But it will record voice or a recital effortlessly. And records for HOURS! 4.FM and it can record off FM 5.Longer play between charges 15 hrs. 6.Large capacity, holds 1,000 songs. Dudes, this is over 40 hours!!! 7.Price is much better than the shuffle. 8.Easy to load with music.In fact, this little Clip beats out every other non video mp3 player! I have 2, and have bought several as gifts. (Sometimes filling them with our music)The Sansa Clip is the best little tech device since the flash drive. If you listen, seriously listen to music, especially on the go, then you need to own one!!!
