I did not believe that a rangefinder in this price range would be able to target a golf flag, but since the product title specifically said "for golf," I decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, I was right. This finder is useless for finding a golf flag at any distance beyond about 50 yards. It works well on larger objects like trees. Would probably make a handy unit for surveying, bird watching, hunting, etc., but not for golf. I have returned the item.
