New models of Forerunner were already born. But this old one is good enought to have all what you need for training without spend too much money.
It is not heavier than the others, it is easy to use during your running or byke training sessions.
14 hours of operating time for the batteries it is not too much but enought if you do not have to do some long trial competition.
No cardiofreqence - but pace rate (do you know yourself?). No downloadable data - but hystory readable.
The shape is a little less ergonomic than the new models but it works well in any case.
Do you think that, for a fast and accurate operation during the run, it is easier to push buttons (like in this model) or to swipe the finger around the clock (like in the new model)? Your choice.
The most important think is to run: Kenyans do not have Forerunner. But it can help.
