My six year old granddaughter was able to use these binoculars to go birding with me. The lower magnification allows a field of view big enough for her to find objects easily - very important with a beginner. She was also able to focus and hold them easily. I was impressed with the image quality.

As I get older I find it increasingly difficult to hold my binoculars steady.These binoculars provide the most stable image of any binoculars that I have used.(I own eight pairs of binoculars) They provide an image similar to that of a [$] pair of roof prism binoculars that I recently purchased. They are light, easy to use, well built and provide exceptional value for money.
