I got this for my 8 year old. And thought I'd use it too. I was going to use it to just guide me to where I'm going.. or use alternative routes.

The car charger broke within a month. The battery only lasts about 2 hours.

It can't find ANY addresses I put in (businesses or residential). It's difficult finding cross streets. Many need to know the cardinal direction.

It's changed my destination midway through my route several times. Luckily I knew where I was going and had to double check the GPS. I couldn't find any Points-of-interest. It recalculates routes often.

Go ahead and spend that extra $40 or wait for a bargain. This was not a bargain.

haven't had any problems, except the charger doesn't work, and its hard to find this identical charger online. Also, doesn't show new addresses within 2years.

But has gotten me through all parts of chicago.

I love it.
