Decent padded travel cushion. It might support a child or small adult. I am about 250lbs and would not expect the straps to someone my size for very long. I wouldn'td think that was the manufacturer's itent. As a stadium chair cushion or propped up by a wall or tree, it would work fine. And, of course, no problems when totally horizontal. It is very light, and I really didn't even have problems toting it on a subway.
