Comments about Celestron Celestron Starhopper 6" Dobsonian Telescope:
What do you expect for $[...]? The instructions are vague at certain points and the optics aren't exemplary, but it's still a good scope for a beginner, especially if the person has an understanding of the different types of telescopes available. It's better than the garbage you find at the local [...]'s, even without the computerized GOTO functions.I found Saturn easily the first time I used it. I'd say it's a good bang for the buck.

Poorly constructed out of cheap materials.
Only positive thing I can say is the the primary mirror is accurate. I had to drill my own mounting holes for the mirror mount on the tube, the ones they had drilled did not line up no matter what. The eyepiece that came withit was horrible, but when viewing with a better quality eyepiece had better results. Base fell apart on me when exposed to too much outdoor weather
