Comments about Sky-Watcher Skywatcher 2x Short Barlow Lens:

This plastic barlow came with an 80mm f/11 achromatic refractor I bought. I found it to be of low quality. Two Plossls, 25mm and 12mm also came with my scope. Combining the 12mm with the barlow to get 150X, I looked at Venus, Jupiter, and Saturn. False color was more evident on Venus and Jupiter with the barlow than without. Without the barlow at 75X, I could see one of Jupiter's equatorial belts. When I put in the barlow, the belt vanished. When I observed Saturn at 75X with just the 12mm Plossl, it was fine. When I observed it with the barlow at 150X, the image broke down so much that I could barely see the planet. To sum up, this is a poor barlow and I do not recommend buying it.
