I tried two of these on two different Canon 40D cameras and neither of them would work. I contacted the company and they were no help at all. I wouldn't have given it one star but it was required.

This item does not work! The video wouldn't appear with a signal sent from my brand new 50D. It is supposed to work with this model for live view functions. To test it video was actually getting to the unit through the supplied/specialized cable I tried sending a video feed from my XTi. Neither one worked. Bottom line is this item is just not ready for primetime yet!

Was very disappointed to have to return.
