Works and fits perfectly. It shades bright light (outdoors) and the buttons transfer perfectly. I think it it the perfect add on!

This fits like a glove. The buttons align perfectly. I have lost two covers for the eyepiece due to the poor design and fit by Canon on the 40D. The Delkin eyepiece fit is snug and the top of the folding door frame protects the rubber from snagging on your whatever and falling off where you will never find it. And I never found mine!

Nice concept, However could be more durable. I can see problems with the door closing notch catching after repeated use.
