Easy to apply to Canon SX100, but base needed slight trimming to fit over right side scroll wheel bulge. With pop-up shade removed, the base provides excellent screen protection for everyday use.

It busted after about a year. The glass and frame (the part glued to the camera) were fine but the flipper-flopper part lost its too delicate hookie-wookie thingy dinghies and would not remain attached to the frame. Used tape and bought a replacement flipper-flopper part (popup light shield) - clever design. Have not found out how to remove the frame from the camera - but who cares!
Be careful when placing frame over the LCD. The stickum is particularly aggressive and you won't have a second chance to install the frame.
Great until it breaks. Handle gently.

Works XLNT on a Sunny/Bright day. It 's build quality is good, but fragile. It's durability will depend heavily on the user's dexterity and care.

I work outdoors in stream environments. Bright sunlight makes LCD monitoring impossible without this pop-up shade! It also protects the screen
from dust, branches, grass...etc. Its so easy to use!

Works great as a sun-shield. Easy to remove if needed. Also protects LCD. The hood can be removed while the protective glass remains in place. Definitely worthwhile for protecting the lcd display.

A friend cut a piece of plexiglass to protect the LCD which worked for years, but failed to shade the LCD in sun light.
This is a big improvement. The LCD can still be hard to see, especially since the shade's plastic LCD protector reflects like a mirror. I'm now better able to frame a image.

The Delkin Universal Pop-up Shade is an excellent product for use with my digital Kodak Z1275. It is compact and fits over the LCD screen just right. The pop-up portion can be removed easily, if needed, in low light situations leaving in place the frame and LCD screen protector.
