One button needed more than expected pressure to activate a camera button. Otherwise, it does what I expected.

I do a lot of outdoor photography. No point using it indoors where there isn't glares on the LCD. The problem with it is that, the closing of the shade is tricky. Requires to close the side flaps before the shade can snap back in place (else your face cannot even get close to the eye piece).
Users who tend to preview their shot after every take may find it a hassle. One idea is to snap on the popup shade at the end of several shots to preview the photos taken.
Perhaps Adorama may improve the closing of the popup shade to make it a one click spring out and one press for closing. (got to be fast!)

I've purchased two of these.The little pins on the side shades fall off. My newest one fell apart in my hands over the weekend with just a couble of uses. I also had the entire unit fall off in the weeds. Not good for the LCD if your out in the middle of nowhere in bad weather.

I live in South Florida with bright sunshine..It doesn't help all that much in viewing on the LCD screen. It is very easy for it to fall off the camera body. I have almost lost it into water several times. Not a product I would recommend at any price.

The shade cover actually separates from the snap on assembly for those situations and light settings where the shade would not be needed. The rest of the LCD protection remains on the camera. Very handy.
