Comments about Hoodman Hoodman Cap / Hood for the LCD Screen of the Nikon D2H and D2X Digital Cameras:

I've owned these for both the D2X and the D70s. Both have broken as they are a bit fragile. I may buy another for the D70s, but not for the D2X. I found that it stuck out enough while closed that it was uncomfortable against my face while looking into the viewfinder.

purchased item for Nikon D70, D200 and D2X. D70 fell apart after a few months and was replaced by manufacturer. Hood for D2X recently disintegrated as well. Hoodman is a good concept, but its fragiklity makes it expensive and unreliable.
